When entering the app, the user can explore by major or by college. They can also see the featured major of the day.

When users enter the major exploration section, they will have the option to “speed date” different majors where they can view brief summaries and quickly choose to either heart or dislike them. Hearted majors will be saved to their Favorites tab for easy access later.

In the major exploration tab, users can freely browse the full list of majors and apply filters to find the one that best fits their interests and goals.

Feedback

During the testing session, high schoolers responded very positively to the app. They shared that they really enjoyed using it and found the interface to be clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate. The step-by-step flow allowed them to explore majors effortlessly, and they appreciated how the design made information accessible without feeling overwhelming.

Several students mentioned that if the app were officially published, it could be a genuinely useful tool especially for students unsure about their future paths or looking to explore academic and career options in a more interactive way.
