Overview
In Fall 2025, I worked as a UX/UI Intern for a technology platform that connects vetted entertainers with paid event opportunities. The platform simplifies the booking process for both entertainers and events.
Challenge
There were three main challenges to take on while interning at EVA.
1. Redesign how entertainers and planners see important stats (earnings, bookings, upcoming events, etc.) so the information is clear, attractive, and easy to understand.
2. Create fun game-like features that encourage entertainers and planners to want to use the dashboard more.
3. Explore different ways EVA could show their data or information outside the dashboard.
Solution
1. Redesign entertainer and planner dashboards
2. Create a badge system along with a streak pop-up
3. Design an end-of-year recap to showcase stats for Instagram
Entertainer Dashboard Features
Added features such as graphs help users easily digest information at a glance. They provide a clear overview of events and key insights necessary for advancing a career as an entertainer. Creating offers, managing profiles, and viewing upcoming events are now just one click away.
Planner Dashboard Features
The added graphs help planners stay organized by tracking tasks and visualizing progress for each event. The event planning section provides a simple, visual way for users to monitor progress across upcoming events.
Gamification
A badge system and streak pop-up were created to gamify user experience. The badge system features key milestones, allowing users to scroll through earned badges, and displays a notification when a new badge is achieved. Upon entering the website, users are greeted with a streak pop-up, and after dismissing it, their current streak remains visible in the top-left corner.
End-of-Year Recap
This recap is to show users different accomplishments and overall stats they have earned throughout the year. They are able to view their personal achievements and share with others. The backgrounds include a gradient with the EVA color scheme as well as different textures to match the content.
